There are no translations available. The investigation process is the base for a successful investigation. At B.E.A.R. we follow a specific process that can be explained as follows:
INVESTIGATION PROCESS CHART 1. Analysis of the facts In this phase, the client presents the facts that triggered the investigation need. We discuss the ramifications of the information for the client and explore information needs. 2. Definition of the investigation objectives The definition of the investigation objectives is a vital point. It is paramount for a proper investigation to be clear about the needs so that B.E.A.R. can take the desired actions during the investigation. 3. Designing the investigation steps and timeframe The proposed steps and actions are drawn so that the client can evaluate the investigation plan and give his input. 4. Implementing the investigation effort Plan, Organization and Deployment of the investigation. All the pieces are put into place to start and execute the investigation. Some of the partners used by B.E.A.R. BUSINESS FORENSICS in their investigations:
5. Study of collected evidence Possible collected evidence is sent to laboratories for further examination or undergoes expert examination. 6. Identify and interview of witnesses Interviews with witnesses that can help gather important information in the investigation process. 7. Identify and interview/confront targets In the final stage of the investigation targets can be confronted with the evidence gathered during an interview and the final pieces will be put together. 8. Written Report of results to the client Written report with the transcripts of all interviews, expert analysis on evidence, findings, opinions and recommendations will be rendered to the client. 9. Negotiation with targets, prosecutors, lawyers Eventually, follow up on the findings with the client’s approval to negotiate or inform 3rd parties that might be indirectly involved and affected by the investigation findings. |
